The leather satchel from OldSchoolBags is perfect for school and perfect for the office. The XL is the newest member of our family and is the closest in size to the old satchel from the 70s and 80s.
We’ve added a second compartment to the bag and along with the two signature front pockets, there’s plenty of room to store your belongings.
We have reinforced the handle and shoulder strap to be able to carry the extra weight. Of course, this shoulder bag is also made of genuine leather. The thickness of the leather is between 2.7 and 3 mm and therefore this satchel feels very sturdy.
Handmade in The Netherlands
These satchels are available in 18 beautiful colors and they are all ‘100% Made in Holland’. They are made in the village of Kaatsheuvel and the leather comes from nearby Rijen, to be precise.
We are proud to be able to make these bags locally again. A beautiful Dutch product made in a responsible manner and with only a few ‘travel kilometers’ (very little impact / sustainable).

Sizes leather satchel
The exact sizes are: 40 cm wide x 29 cm high x 14 cm deep. A 15 inch laptop fits very well in it.
