About our bags
How do I look after my bag?
As our bags are made from real leather and therefore, like any natural material are not waterproof, should they get wet then dry with a cloth and then allow the bag to dry naturally.
What sizes are available to me?
There are a number of different sizes for each of our product lines. Please see the Size guide page on the website: size guide .
Are there variations in the colour of the leather?
We have made every effort to ensure that the leather of your bag represents the image on the website. However, as the bags are made from real leather there can be natural variations in the colour.
When will I receive my OldSchool Bag?
All of our bags are handmade here in the Netherlands. It takes 5 days to make your OldSchool Bag by hand. We then we add a couple of days for the delivery, so we aim to ensure your bag is with you within 7 working days of placing the order.
Which shipping options are available?
We send everything with PostNL. In the Netherlands, the package will be delivered the next delivery day delivery, in Belgium within two days. All other countries last 3 – 5 days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship our bags worldwide. Shipping is always free.
How can I pay for my OldSchool Bag?
There are a number of different ways you can pay for your OldSchool Bag. We use tried and trusted IDEAL and PayPal as well as the following credit cards: Visa and Mastercard. Also ING HomePay, Bancontact, SOFORT, MisterCash and Bitcoins are accepted.
Is buying online at OldSchool Bags safe?
Yes, it’s very safe. We use SSL certificates to secure our website and the communications (you can also see the little lock before the URL address in your internet browser). The payment itself is processed by a widely used and officially recognized payment handler, Mollie. Your bank details are therefore not known to us and are not on our website. We only get a sign from Mollie when the payment is made.
Orders and returns
We want you to enjoy your bag for a long time. You only do that if you are completely satisfied with it. We advise you to immediately inspect the delivered bag(s) when you receive them. If the bags do not meet your expectations, do not hesitate to inform us by e-mail. We will always try to resolve any problems or complaints in consultation with you in the best possible way.
Exchanging the bag?
This is of course always possible (as long as the bag is not used). Please contact us via email or telephone. As soon as we have received the bag, we will send you your new bag.
Returning the bag?
You may return the items within the 14 day trial period, otherwise we assume that the bag has been accepted. We only accept returned items that:
- have been notified to us by e-mail in advance
- be returned in the original undamaged packaging
- undamaged and unused
- have sufficient franking
After receipt of the bag, the money will be refunded within five working days.
